Programs & Events

Have you attended our seed swap or seed-saving workshop?  Or the children’s storytime reading program?  These are but two of the programs that are currently in place at your Ester Library.

In addition to its annual meeting, the JTEL throws several community events and fundraisers each year that serve to keep the library operating and put money by for our new building, or just to have a great time. These are:

  • Seed Swap (a seedsavers’ get-together and seed donation/checkout event held in February or March)
  • The Tape & Tarp Ball (a dance and duct tape costume contest held in April or May)
  • The LiBerry Music Festival & Berry Pie Throwdown (local live music and a berry pie contest held in August)
