When: Saturday, August 27 from 6:00 to 10:00 pm

Where: Golden Eagle Saloon in downtown Ester

What: After a two-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the John Trigg Ester Library’s premiere fundraiser is back! Come and enjoy live music, sample delicious pies, and support the Ester Library for an entry fee/donation of $10.

Berry Pie Competition

All pies must contain berries, of which there are many to choose from. Pies will be judged in the categories of sweet, savory and overall. Get your imagination and culinary skills in order and enter your pie(s) at the JTEL Clausen Cabin (across from the Golden Eagle) between 2:00 and 4:00 pm the day of the festival. Judging will take place at 4:00 pm.

The three winning pies (sweet, savory and overall winners) will be auctioned at the Golden Eagle at 8 pm during the Music Festival. The rest of the competitive pies will be available at the Golden Eagle for $5 per slice. Non-competitive pies may also be accepted as donations up to 5 pm at the Clausen Cabin, and then at the Golden Eagle until 8 pm.

Music Festival

Live music will commence from 6:00 pm until 10:00 pm featuring three great bands!
