DESCRIPTION:Join us for our annual Fall fundraiser and pie throwdown! \nPie competition begins with entries being brought to the Clausen Cabin at 2:00PM\, with pies being judged at 4:00 PM. There are 2 categories: sweet and savory\, with a winner being crowned in each category and a grand prize champion. \nPies for sale ($5/slice) can be brought over to the Golden Eagle beginning at 5:00\, with the pie sales and music beginning at 6:00PM. Non-winning pies will also be sold for $5/slice. \nThe three winning pies will be live auctioned off at 8:00PM. \nJoin us for a night of pie eating and fun!

SUMMARY:Spring Fundraiser: Once Upon a Spring
DESCRIPTION:So far\, we’ve got round trip tickets for the following tours: Northern Alaska Tour Company’s Fly and Drive to the Arctic Circle\, Stan Stephens Columbia Glacier cruise\, and Alaska Railroad tickets from Anchorage to Seward (all tours are for 2 people)\, the Pump House Restaurant\, and the Fairbanks Children’s Museum. \nThese are just a few of the items up for the silent auction. We have lots more – tools\, kitchen implements\, art and prints and swag from local breweries and restaurants. \nCome on out\, dressed as your favorite literary character (or not – costumes not required)! We’ll have a photo booth and a DJ from 7-10 Saturday\, April 18\, 2026! \n

SUMMARY:LiBerry Pie Throwdown
DESCRIPTION:Come on down for pie and music! This annual event is a fundraiser for the Library\, and is in 2 parts: the Pie Contest and the Pie Eating (plus the live band “Identity Crisis” as an aside!). \nFor you pie bakers\, we are accepting pies (from 2-4PM at the Library) in two categories: sweet and savory. There will also be a Grand Champion pie. Here are the rules. \nFor you Pie Eaters\, come on over to the Golden Eagle from 6-10PM for pie and music. We’ll be auctioning off the 3 winning pies at about 8:00 PM. \nWe are also in need of pies to sell – these can be brought over to the Golden Eagle starting at 5:30PM. \nSee everyone on the 19th!
