Library Lecture Series While we don't yet have a library building in which to host cultural events, the library can still serve in this traditional fashion by sponsoring a lecture series in Ester's nearby community space, Hartung Hall. The lecture series focuses on writers, artists, adventurers, scholars, entrepreneurs, musicians, craftspeople, and colorful characters from, visiting, or of interest to Ester. Admission is free; donations are encouraged—and very much appreciated. Upcoming speakers for this forum include Chris Lott, Jamie Smith, and Matthew Reckard. Dates and times for each speaker will be announced. For more information, please contact the librarians. The forum is held in Hartung Hall, Main Street, Ester, at 7 pm.
